Cutting Depth

Hello, I am using Mach 2 and V Carve Pro 5. I have a problem getting a true cut depth when I set up my material and run it in Mach 2. I cannot seem to get the proper depth no matter what I do. Is there any video out there that will show how to achieve this, I would really appreciate solving this problem. Thanks---Jim

Have you calibrated the Z axis? Tell the machine to go up or down a measured distance, then measure that distance and they should be equal.

If they are not equal, go to the settings screen, just above the reset button you will see set steps per unit, this will help you set the exact distance.

If this does not fix it just keep asking, someone will figure it out.
