Control panel stops randomly while routing.
I have a shark pro and am using the programing that came with it along with VCarve pro 4.6 that also came with the shark pro. In the control panel it says "The CNC Shark is connected and operational" However, very often it stops in the middle of a job. I am trying to do 20 small signs and I can do 2,3 or 4 then on the next one the control panel drops out and it says "Please check CNC Shark power & USB cable" When I unplug and plug the USB cable in it works again for a while, then in the middle of a job it stops again. When it stops, the go to .0.0.0 does not work, when I plug it back in the .0.0.0 is where it stopped. I have to manually move it to the beginning which makes it next to impossible to start over and continue on the same piece. Very frustrating.
Any ideal what is causing this?
Thanks,
John

Two things you can try are a shorter cable, and a powered USB hub. I don't have any experience with the Shark, though.

Sounds like a call to the Shark Pro vendor for support... Check to see if there is an upgrade for the frontend...
