I want to pass on something I discovered today in the new 3.6.X version of the ShopBot control software.
I remember reading in the release notes that Vectric had supplied the new toolpath previewer for the software, but with the previewer in the Vectric programs being so great, I never found a need to use the ShopBot previewer.
Today I did and are very impressed. What is does for us is add the ability to accurately preview the cut using the toolpath as the input. So now we can preview with the design as an input, then save the toolpaths and use these to see what the actual cut will be.
If you haven't looked at it yet, I recommend you do in case you find a need for it in the future.
