Re: Not profiling corner , rounding corner off instead
It's the CV setting (constant velocity) as far as I know in Mach3 that controls the slowdown for the corners.

This document may help: ->Link to Mach 3 CV Settings DocumentStill have not been able to find what setting in MACH 3 tales care of this issue.

Of course speed has something to do with your problem.
Can a race car go around a 90 corner at 180 MPH? Nope. It decelerates, then accelerates out of the corner.
Mach 3 has settings for this. You need to look at the manual regarding setting up the machine control.
There is a motor tuning section in the software that you should get familiar with. You can control the accel/decel of every motor on your machine.
I am not trying to be a wiseguy. We do not have your machine in front of us so we cannot tell you an exact setting.
Here is a shot from the Mach3 software showing the panel that sets up accels/decels:
On my machine, I have the accel set to about 50 ins/sec. Take a look at yours, try increasing it to see what happens, don't go crazy, about 10 units at a time. If you set it too high, your machine will start losing steps.
That screen is in section: 5.5.2 Setting the maximum motor speed, IIRC you get there by selecting Config, then Motor Tuning.

Thank you Treischl .
I'll dig into the Mach3 manual some more and check & PLAY WITH my machine settings
Appreciate your assistance.

A,
Before messing around in mach, make a copy of the mach folder.....you never know when you may need it....
