When my roughing tool path gets to a small area, the machine tries to keep moveing at the same speed making the direction changes quite abrupt and tries to shake everything off the bench. Is there a setting in mach3 that whill help here? Is it a factor of acceleration?
Thanks for your help.

Re: fix short jerky moves? mach3
Your accel may be too high; your machine may not be rigid enough/ have enough hp for your feed rate and depth of cuts...but you could also benefit by setting Mach 3 to be in Constant Velocity Mode, Under Config/General, tick off the button for Constant Velocity Mode; on the same page find the place for CV distance tolerance...I have my machine set for 1 unit; and also set Stop CV on angles >....I have mine set to 49 degrees.

Thankyou, it was a matter of acceleration.
