power shortage
hi have been given a complete cnc small table engraver router and have power to z axis but not to x and y axis unsure where to start to track problem down so any tips from anyone would be really appreciated
Re: power shortage
Can you give us more information. What brand is the CNC? What control system/software does it use? Some picture of the control electronics and cnc might be helpful.
Can you connect the motors from the x and y one at a time to the Z axis cables and see if the motors work. If so, must be on control end, if not, likely a motor or cable problem.

Re: power shortage
thanks for reply when i turn on controller the z axis has power when i disconnect z x axis is powered up and when i remove x axis connection y axis powers up in my limited understanding it appears that power is being sent to one axis only would this mean power supply issue or something else.
