Hi, This my 1st post anywhere on the web. I am a newbee to cnc & have rightly or wrongly acquired a 10yr old
Chinese no name 8x 4 cnc router. (currently in pieces having all bearings replaced).
The question is does anyone use a DSP rznc 501 controller successfully with cut 2d? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Puppetman

Re: RZNC501 cnc controller
Nice to know I am not the only one to start out with a ten year old used machine.
I have a different brand - made in Canada.
I had to do a fair amount of work to mine also.
One thing I did was to change the operating software to Mach3.
Mach3 runs great and has a lot of support.
And yes Vectric does support Mach3

I did not try Mach but going to do it in the future. What is the different between? On this old staff I have support and that it is works so far. I have identical DSP from different suppliers and that the algorithm little bit different. I got used to it - one I use for fast job - another for precision.
