Homing position

When I am using v-carve to program.. the software always sets a homing position of.... x=.0000, y=.0000 and a z of .8000, i would like to change
z to something else,, but can't find where in software to change this.. right now i have to go back into g-code and edit it to what i want.
Is there a way to change this ?

Click on the "Setup Material and Rapid Gaps" icon on the Toolpath tab, it's the first one on the first row. You can change the Z there.

To change the home position you need to go into the Job Setup dialog on the edit menu.
