Re: Trouble with engraving
Aarong,
I think we might need a little more information. It would be great if you could post the .crv file and a picture or two.
Here are a few questions to start:
Does this only occur with text?
When you say engraving, are you using the single line engraving fonts or trying to V Carve a true type font?
What does the Preview look like in VCP after you calculate the toolpath?
If that looks as it should on your computer screen, but your machine carves it backwards, you need to be sure you are using the correct post processor for your machine. If you are, then check to see if any setting in your control software would affect this.
Keep working with us, and someone here will be able to figure it out.

Re: Trouble with engraving
If the preview shows everything as you want it then something is changing after VCP calculates the toolpaths. There are no settings in VCP or PhotoVCarve that will control this.
Please tell us what you have for a machine, what control software you use (for example, Mach 3) and what post processor you are using.

Hello Aarong,
Like Tim and Viktor mentioned, It appears that one of your axis is running backwards.
New Machine?
Have you always had this problem?
I'm pretty sure it isn't the software.
Btw Good to see another Hoosier on the forum
