Why should the video card make a difference to the generation time? Once the toolpath creation is complete, yes, zooming in and rotating the model with the wireframe paths wrapped around it will consume GPU cycles.


Your Win7 setup results should be interesting :)

First I appoligze, I overlooked you were talking about Cut3D.

I don't have Cut3D but I created a toolpath using VA3D-Machinist. My results are not valid as I'm sure this program does not utilize 4 cores and/or 64 bit. But for grins it took 1:24 min to create a 12 mb file toolpath file. Lookes like my maching is not all that fast. :(
