Draw Tool Problem

Lately the Draw Tool check box has been checked whenever I open a project. I assumed it got checked by accident, since I don't often use it. Today, I turned it off and reloaded the project... and it was back on. I tried saving the project, unchecking both boxes, and checking the Options. I have 'Animate Cursor Moves' set to NO. I even reset my Options. Still, every time I load a project, the checks are back on. Normally I only keep 'Animate Preview' on. Aspire v10.018. What am I missing? Am I going nuts (debatable)?

For that particular file:

Open it
Change settings
Save.


For future files:

New file
change settings
Save and exit

That should work IIRC. We are all nuts to one degree or another. . . . . .

I had tried both those... neither worked. I reset my options, and restarted Aspire umpteen times. No change. I can change the checks, save, close, and reopen, and BOTH checks are back.

I just figured out the answer. If you close the Preview Toolpaths dialog BEFORE YOU SAVE AND EXIT THE FILE, everything works correctly. I don't remember having to do that.... but hey, it works.

Well that is pretty strange, I do not recall ever having to do that either. Hmmmph.

Just checked through the VCarve versions I have and 9 behaves the same way but 7 doesn't, I don't have 8 installed to try that. Guess the settings are only saved on dialog exit since 8 or 9.
