Piranah FX X Axis Issues

Post by JMan »

Good morning,
I was carving a 3d image and during which somehow the cradle got blocked, we had a small earthquake and a piece of wood fell and blocked it from moving. So needles to say it was trashed. All happened at 98 percent complete. So that was just a back story, now I have since restarted to cut the image and have now noticed that the x axis after traveling a bit stutters and jars as if it has hit its max limitation of movement in mid cut, resets itself and carries on and cuts completely out of the area. Any thoughts on how to correct or fix the issues, i have unplugged, rebooted and still no change.

Yes, I did a factory reset and started the project over, everything went fine until it hit a certain spot, the exact same spot as before. and it looses it's home. I stopped the project and move the X axis left and right and it stutter stops. I am worried that the machine is broken.

Is there anything left under, or on, or anywhere where it could interfere with the Piranha table movements?
And, did you reset the xyz zero position after you did the factory reset.
