I am considering upgrading the stepper motors on my 5x5 router to Clearpath servo motors model CPM-SDSK-3441S-RLS made by Teknic. I am not sure how to handle the HLFB error signal under Mach3. If anyone on the forum has had any experience with the Clearpath Servo motors under Mach3 control and would share their experience, it would be most appreciated.

Re: Clearpath servo motors with Mach3 Question
Dan...
I have used them on a number of machines. Check out using the HLFB signal in "Servo On" mode and use that signal, when active to operate a limit type operation. Don't now how inputs can be configured in Mach, but with WinCNC I am able to halt motion, and have a screen message similar to "Servo Tripped" or even discreet messages for the X, Y, Z and Rotary
