To those of you seasoned carvers... If you are carving on Corian, what bit do you use and what feeds and speed do you use?

I use standard v-bits and end mills, both straight and ball nose.
With how my machine is set up, I usually stick to about 50 IPM for rough cuts, 30 IPM for finish profiling.
I have dual Hitachi routers on my CNC, both are set at the highest speed, bit life seems to be acceptable.

Have a look through the photovcarve section & gallery, lots of lithophanes cut in corian get posted in there, often info on bits used, cutting speeds & feeds etc get posted because people ask.
Haven't cut any corian personally so can't give any details.

I've Vcarved quite a bit of corian in the past, and it cuts like butter.
I've used as small as 0.25 diameter x 60 degree up to 1.5" diameter x 90 degree vbits at various rpms from 6000 to 15000. At the slower rpms my feedrate was 0.50 ips up 3.0 ips with higher rpms. The majority my corian i run is at 1.5 to 2 ips at about 12,000 rpms.
I had seen very little difference in the quality of cut, the reason for the slower feed rate was for much more detailed work. I was having trouble control software and had some jerkiness and didn't want any over travel.
I don't think you'll have any trouble. Just start out at what you feel comfortable with and increase feed and rpms from there.
