Industrial CNC Apprentice 4x4 machine

Post by newcarver »

Has anyone heard or know of a company called Industrial CNC ? I am looking at a machine 4x4' and was quoted a great price. I wonder about the machine and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this company. I have my choice narrowed down to three choices now. Industrial CNC Apprentice, Axiom 2'x4', or a EZ router. Is the Industrial CNC machine an import i wonder?

Thanks,

I don't see an address anywhere on the site, but the Renegade series is said to be designed and built in the US. Not sure about the Pro series that you are considering.

No address seems odd.

With a Machine such as this it is best to go to the factory or shop and see the machines first hand, without a strong owner support and reputation be wary of paying upffront

That website would make me very, very nervous.

No address.

A list of supposed users but only a first name and city. (What most machine companies do is show a few customers with their company name and location).

The other thing is that they have those "customers" plastered all over their pages. Is that to give other a sense of security?

And then, does that website have a corporate look and feel? Hardly. Looks like someone's son/daughter ginned it up.

Notice they spend a lot of real estate on Vectric products, but the products do not appear to be included with the machine purchase. Same thing goes for Mach 3.

Could be a small guy importing chinese machines trying to look like a big dealer. . . . .

If'n it were me? Names of customers with phone numbers please. . .more than 3. Low down payment, very, very low.

Actually these guys are well known for many years, the names have changed but the game is the same. When I was looking for a cnc in 07 I had attempted to do business with them (Company name was different machine is the same) I got lucky (the way I see it) and was able to find enough info to keep me looking elsewhere (Price was tempting) at this point and with all the smoke and mirrors I can only say to do Due diligence LOTS of it if this is a consideration

You can often find an address by doing a Google search on the phone number. In this case, Industrial CNC is at 17 Clinton Dr, Hollis, NH 03049. You can then use Google street view to see if you're dealing with a commercial or home address. And Bing birds eye view gives great aerial photos. The Industrial CNC address is in a very small industrial park and I see no building that matches the photo on their website. So, more warning flags.
