AXYZ Millennium Slow Spindle speed

Post by Scoones »

Hi All,
We have an AXYZ Millennium machine in our studio that has been playing up recently with one major issue:
The spindle speed never increases to make a decent cut!
Usually the spindle will speed up and the machine display will show a counter of how many RPM. It doesn't do this now and only speeds up for a second before starting. Also when you switch the machine on it used to ask to 'Warm up Spindles' and again you could watch the RPM increase on the machine display, it no longer asks for this. I've increased the spindle speed on ToolPath but that doesn't make any difference it always stays at the same speed (and I cant tell you what it is as the display never shows you its RPM).

Your advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks very much
Scoones

Have you tried contacting the person you bought it from ..... what control software does the CNC use?

I would be contacting AXYZ. It sounds like a setting in the controller software.

We've contacted the supplier to get it serviced, see what they say about it.

What do you mean control software? The program I open to send a job over is just called Toolpath...

Hi Scoones.

Try this input. F2-auto-24000-enter, and run a short test to see if that allows the rpm to rev up.

also try F2-on-24000-enter, and see if it revs up to the desired rpm.

If you have a manual handy, check the settings for your inverter.
