Control box mounting

Post by boxerstoo »

I am brand new to this and am setting up my machine in my shop and am trying to locate the control box.

Being as there is a fan inside, will it hurt if I mount the box on its side instead on on its rubber feet?

Any fan worth using will be able to run in any orientation, just make sure that the air flow is good and it is filtered or out of dust/chip's way. Are there any other components that cause concerns (DVD drive ...) ?
