excessive nodes

Post by Jan.vanderlinden »

I have a file that has so many nodes in it that it looks like a solid line from a #2 pencil.
I also think that this may be a contributor to the rough cut that I get when machining.
Is there a way to reduce the excessive nodes by a simple process? other than taking hours removing them one at a time.

Use the Fit Curves to Selected Vectors tool. 3rd row, 3rd from left under Edit Objects.
