Hello,
I'm thinking that the CNC machine should be able to machine some fine overlapping circular swirl pattern on aluminium or stainless sheet.
The pattern is made up of finely machined circles with a 50% overlap with the previous.
This will be used to make a custom dashboard and door cappings in a classic car.
The swirls are made by an abrasive action rather than cutting in to the material. The circles need to be around 1" or 25mm in diameter.
Has anyone attempted this and have any tips please?
Many thanks in advance

Yes, I did exactly that for the finish on the white portion of this Processional Cross.
I used the Array and Copy option with a small stainless steel wire brush from Dremel..
Turned out nicely.

I used to do machine turning with an old engine valve mounted in the drill press with 120 grit abrasive glued to it.
Loads of videos on youtube of people doing it with CNC machines.

You're going to want it to spin much slower than typical router speeds.

Use "Array Copy" and "Drilling Toolpath"
A ScotchBrite disk works with aluminum.
