Dust collector hose hanger

Post by rej »

i really like this. I was looking at my ceiling thinking how to hang the hose. Then i thought about my barn doors.
So I went to Menards, bought an 8 foot long door track, a pair of wheels, an eye hook and a bungee. I simply wired around the wheels with welding wire and put a bungee to an eye bolt. I have about 30.00 in the track, 37 in the wheels, 2.00 in parts. So I'm in for less than 75.00.
The wheels glide with the gantry, don't go near the end, and works like a charm.

Since i have 4 machines in here most of the time, it's an easy way to just move the dust collector to each machine, clamp on the hose and run.

Nice idea, I may have to look into something like that for my dust collector.

Thanks for sharing....

Great idea! I just finished my dust collector and was trying to figure out how to hang it.
