problem with 2.5 D model

Post by Daniel »

I have a 3d max file with 2,5D model. Id like to make a linear array of copies. When I put two copies one next to other ( gap=0) i have this strange line between two of them. What Can I do to have smooth connected copies :?: :?: :?:

From memory you need to overlap the models slightly as there is an internal 1 pixel border.

ok,how can I determine how big overlap supossed to be?? I can move elments only in mm (or inches) and is there another way to avoid "more or less" method?

You can move objects using either absolute or relative movements & although it works in either inches or mm you can move to 3 decimal spaces so you could more your components by 0.001 mm at a time.
