It is becoming a real problem and we may have to stop Guests from
posting and only allow Registered users to contribute to the discussions.

Any thoughts?

Hello.
Allow Guests to view but only Registered users post.
Very few forums allow guest posters.

Thanks for your feedback.

The Forum access has been restricted so only registered users can post.

Anyone can view the various topics and galleries, but they must register
in order to post a new topic or contribute to an existing thread.

Fingers crossed that this will help eliminate the unwanted garbage recently
shoveled onto the Forum.

From the posts I have seen they appear to be from the same person. Could we give guest limited posting rights. ( 100 words or less, no active links, no attachments )how about volunteers to help monitor the boards.

If you're going to lock down the forums to reg users only (which it looks like you're going to [as a side note I think this is a good idea]) I can't remember how the reg process went but I've seen a lot of forums that once you register you have to wait till you get an email from the forum with some link into to activate your account. This always seemed to be a good way of stopping people from creating fake reg'd users. This could all be a moot point as it might already work this way, but it's something to think about.
Take it easy.
