Vcarvepro bitmap brought in has too many little pieces

Postby michael307 » Sat Sep 24, 2016 11:40 pm

When I bring in a bitmap to trace it has too many little closed pieces which setting reduces these. I want maybe less detail and keep basic design.

Hi Michael,

Post your bitmap photo here so we can see it, please. It will help us help you.

You can adjust the tolerance for the trace to be a little looser. Experiment with the settings to find a reasonable balance between reducing the "little closed pieces" (which you can just select and delete) and the trace adhering well to the shape(s). You will likely need to do some post-editing of some of the vector shape nodes regardless.

I can't put image on due to copyrights, but I did some more experimenting and got it simplified with fewer small unneeded pieces ' Thank you
