When pocketing or carving, for the first raster outside cycle the full cutter is in the wood. Using a step-over in pocketing or carving, the amount of material is reduced sometimes 90% for each successive cycle.
Is there any way to set the feed rate so the first full raster cutter cut it is one speed and the following a different feed rate?
I've considered manually modifying the g-code or doing a non-raster cut to the final depth first at the slower feed rate and then using a faster feed rate for the pocketing.
(I couldn't find an earlier answer, but if there is one please give me a link.)
