Glue ups

Thanks for the help people, used a combination of less glue & brads for a few of the bits & that seemed to work quite well, hindsight is great isn't it had another quite large piece to make which would also need to be done pretty accurately so I have glued the 2 pieces of plywood together before machining it this time. Should have just done that to start with although I have now learnt something new so not all bad

Martin....the interesting part of that project was that i got to cut the tree down, haul the logs, mill the lumber and dry it , and then build with it. it stretched the old brain and body. fun project all around. cherry tree was 22 in at the butt and i got 3, 8 ft logs out of it before the first branch.
