WW2 veteran memorial help needed.

Post by joesoileau »

Hello,
Another WW2 veteran passed away yesterday who is a family friend. My question is would someone be willing to take a photo I can provide and build the file for me so I could install it on my VCarve program and cut with my Shark? I am open to suggestions on what the memorial should be, wood, acrylic, litho. Mr Sonnier was a tail gunner. The photo is a crew photo with these hero's standing in front of this historical aircraft. I would like his service to our country to be honored as a gift to his family but I do not have the skill to do the necessary steps. Thanks for any help with this memorial idea.

I think that you forgot to post the photo.
People are going to have to look at it first to decide whether they can do it.

11x10 rendering
11x10 rendering
I mocked up a lithophane for grins .
To get the resolution I used ballnose setting of 0.031 ( ball nose setting but would actually use Vbit)
11x10 lithophane would take 24 hours or more

22x20 lithophane 0.125 little faster ...

I would find better picture of ACK-ACK ANNIE this was small 500x 300 something like that...
