Height of ToolPath toolbar

Post by knowlzy0791 »

Hey everyone,

This is being extremely nit-picky, but is there a way to shorten the height of the toolpathing toolbar? Right now to hit "calculate" or "cancel" I have to scroll down a little bit, but I can't use my mouse wheel because that just makes me zoom out on my drawing.

Even if I can un-pin something like "last pass" box for the time being. I don't do anything intricate enough to use this feature anyway.

Thanks!

I had a similar issue, in that I couldn't view the job diamensions that appear in the lower left corner of Aspire.
The fix for me was to move my windows task bar from the bottom of my computer screen and have it up the side of the screen.
That allowed Aspire to fill the bottom part of the screen and I could then view the job diamensions.
You could also find the setting to "Auto Hide Task Bar" and see if that works.

Even with the Taskbar hidden, I have the same problem.
It is very annoying and a waste of time.

If I understand your dilemma correctly – your “calculate” and “close” buttons are not visible?
Maybe it has to do with screen resolution.
Even with “Show advanced toolpath options” checked, I still have some “free space” at the bottom.
See picture attached.

No, it has nothing to do with screen resolution.
I have a touch screen but Aspire cannot be sized with touch.
It is only 2D profile that I have a problem with.
Too much content makes it too tall for my 26" screen.

Even with 2D profiles it makes no difference, still some space at the bottom.

Is the Aspire window maximised? I can size Aspire on my touch screen ok, using the normal drag handles on the corners of the windows but I generally run with it maximized.

To get an advanced toolpath tab showing without scrollbars the window has to be around 1000 or so pixels tall.

Yes, mine is maximized and the screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 so definitely large enough.

Standard font size?

What version of Windows are you running? The top of your screenshot looks a bit strange.

Windows 10.something :D
What do you mean "strange"?
It is a cropping of a screenshot and purely toolpath.

There's a lot of white space above the toolpath header. Might just be the theme you're using.

Mine looks like the attached for example in Windows 10 at 1920x1200 resolution with standard fonts and the Aspire window maximised.

I run dual monitors so there is no windows task bar on my drawing screen, and it does stretch all the way to the bottom, completely maxed. I run Windows 7 or something or another lol.

As you can see in Ms. Wolffie's screenshots, I have the exact screen as her. It is so close it's aggravating

So I suppose if someone winds up finding a solution please post it!

No-one has replied as to which font size they're using yet though. I can't see what else it could be, unless I'm missing something obvious, if the resolution is more than a 1000 pixels etc. Even with the large Windows 10 taskbar across both of my monitors it fits with plenty of spare room.

If you don't use the advanced toolpath features then unchecking "show advanced toolpath operations" will shorten the dialog considerably.

I had the same issue as Ms Wolffie and others. Running Windows 10.

Resolution 1920 x 1080

The display settings were set at default of 125%. If this is changed to 100% then entire toolbar can be seen, but awful small. I think it turns out to about 7.2 font, based on assumption of default font size of 9. Note the options for the settings are in 25% increments.

I think this is a font size of 9 (per default setting in advanced display settings)
I changed all shown below to font size of 8 and entire toolbar can be seen. I kept this setting.
