editing a drawing in vcarve

Post by brockadeau »

Tony-- sure would be helpful if I could edit single lines, trim lines and the such to clean up the drawings that come into vcarve as eps files. Or if we could export them into a good dawing program-- its just that they don't act the same in a program like inkscape as they seem to in vcarve-- unless I'm doing it all wrong-- Jack

H Jack,

You haven't missed anything in the software and I appreciate how
frustrating it can be trying to fix designs. We are looking at what's
required in the way of drawing and editing tools for V3 and will post
more details in a couple of weeks.

Being Able to delete a node and edit the position of a node via text entry rather than just mouse pointing would be a great start.
This would solve most of my editing problems.
