rotation snap acuracy

Post by BrianO »

when I do a circular array of a rectangle using the corresponding angle of the rectangle part I get a overlap of the new part. After checking the angle of the overlap area I get 360 degree's so why do I have a overlap.

Thanks,
Brian

Are you referring to the overlap of the circle or the overlap of the rectangles?

The length of your rectangle (24.0212) times the number of copies (42 ?) is greater than the circumference of the circle (991.958).
Adjust the rectangle or circle size. It has been discussed earlier on how to calculate the line length considering the arc of the circle, I just can't remember where. :(
