Laminated Plastic

Post by olf20 »

Has anyone had any experience with cutting laminated plastic. It seems to be about .060 to .080 thick. The sample I saw was red with a yellow under layment. The top (red) was engraved and the result was red top color with yellow lettering.
I was wondering where to get some of this to try. Might make some nice holiday stuff.
Thanks olf20

Sounds like your cutting the engravable plastics that Gravograph supplies like modified acrylic or DR.

If so I've done quite a few especially with ADA signs

I only do it because it's dangerous, sometimes illegal...otherwise, where's the fun in high powered signage?
