Oh, One other trick from TJ at Shopbot class during the unfilmed QA sessions afterwards(class is free for all CNC people)
Try selecting multiple nodes and then hold down "V"(for vertical) or "H" horizontal, and then play with your nudge arrows:)
It's kinda cool:)

Oh, Just noticed in the news letter that Vectric has a few of the very short "Tips and Tricks" out that James has mentioned.
4 of them are Node Editing:)

Thanks for noticing Scott. There are only a small selection of videos at the moment and one those was re-purposed from the User Group. We are aiming to keep adding to these though particularly once we're settled into our new offices later this month...
Cheers,
James

Really like the additional approach of subject specific short tutorials James!!
Sometimes searching for the one shortcut you need can take hours(NOT that it's time wasted as always learn Something).
Stuck it on the 'Bot forum and already had a thank you, although it should REALLY go to you guys!!
Who was the "Node Edit" Lady....really nice to stick names to voices.
Humble thanks to Vectric Team,
scott

I also agree that the short to the point tutorials are great and a time saver. You still need to take the time and work through the full versions.

If you fit curves to selected vectors(which is in the edit objects section) and check Bezier. This will reduce the number of nodes.
from there you edit or move each the way you want. If you have trouble let me know and I can try to clean it up for you.
Some of the signs I do people send me a photo or drawing they get off the internet that are just a mess. This will speed things up considerably.
