Hey Buck,
Did you get the 2amp AC adaptor from oznium? The only one I see is $19.95...
Hey Tim, hope all is well! I guess I miss quoted the price on the 2 amp adapter. Don't know where I got that price, SORRY!!! I did check a couple other places and that is a pretty average price. Just finishing the base for a Pub sign, for a local bar. Haven't drank in over 25 yrs.
Hope we can get together soon.........Buck

Buck,
If you don't mind sharing, where did you locate the Harley sign image you cut or was it a design of your own?
I see a lot of recommendations when cutting plexi to use really high RPM's - any reason for this? wouldn't slower be better to keep from melting it? Like maybe 10-12k? Just curious, because I'm getting ready to try my first one! I'm referring to a simple V-Carve - maybe 12k @ 3ips? Any help would be appreciated, as I don't really want to waste my piece of material
Hi Ron, on the Pub sign when doing the v-carving, I ran at approx 12 K rpm, .060" per pass, and 40 ipm. Using a 90 deg v-bit.
I did notice that when I used a 22 deg v-bit, i did get some melting, so I just ran the tool path again and it cleaned real nice.
