Graduation sign for the nephew

Post by Greasetattoo »

Here is a sign, I whipped up today!
Just plain ole white pine, with a walnut inlay.

Painted with some acrylic paints.

Enjoy!

Nice looking work.
Did you carve the walnut before or after you inserted it into the pine?

Hey Everyone!

Viktor,
It is a fontset that I have.
It is called Peinaud.

Did you carve the walnut before or after you inserted it into the pine?
I carved the walnut after, but it does not make a difference.
I used the inlay feature in Aspire.
Works like a charm!
Fit like a condom! lol

I take it the mill is up and running great .
Kent,
Yes, my small mill is back up and running again.
"Very well", I may say!

Still have to set up my other mill. (had it since Dec.)
Little bigger one!
