Baseball

Post by JamesB »

This is a model I made from a photo of a High School baseball player so they could use it to make a plaque commemorating some batting records he set last year.

Combination of shapes built up using vectors, the image texture and a lot of sculpting.

Cheers,
James

James,
I have to agree with Woodhill, The detail in your work is incredible. The muscles in the arms and folds in the clothing.
Very realistic.
Great Job James.

Thanks for the kinds words. This was a contract job and will not be going on the website.
The detail was mainly pulled from the original image with some sculpting to get round the problems with shadow/color issues. The same process as the fish example in the tutorials.

Cheers,
James
