Just finished a large shop clock for a friend. Overall size is approximately 25" x 39" and was controlled by the length of the clock hands. His shop is 30,000 sq. ft., so the clock should be visible from just about anywhere.
Didn't use any of the more powerful Aspire features, but enjoyed working with the software for the design process. The illusion I tried to create was a saw blade going through a block of wood. Also, didn't design the logo, that was already done.

Re: Simple Shop Clock
Hello Tim,
The clock looks very good! It looks like it was made from 2 different pieces of wood, or was it just finished to give that appearance?

Wes,
The blank was cut and glued from one maple board and then machined in one piece.
After finishing with 6 coats of shellac, I glazed the center piece to make it darker and provide the contrast. Then I applied a couple of coats of Deft spray lacquer.
