John overall size 16.5 x 11 inch wide clockface is 5.3 inch

backlight is just a light table I made to inspect lithos .
I will be making a light system for this project.
I want it all to be battery operated. I will post when done.

That is very nice. I was thinking of building a HD or HOG clock, hoping to sell to some of the Harley shops and clubs around here and Rapid City. But what you made was much better than what I was thinking of. This turned out very good. Thanks for sharing.

Very, very nice Kent. That looks spectacular!

You might need to consider leaving the center of the clock face dark to mask the movements. Unless you plan on using big gears, that would look cool....
