Finally finished the cradle....will post pics in the next few days. Worked out very well and my sister-in-law loves it. Now I am thinking of carving this into something for my new niece-to-be....

Had a chance to cut the bear with the heart in some MDF. Came out very nice although the pic isn't the best. I think I'm going to try the staining technique that Phil and Randall have done. I think the examples they showed were great. Just hope I can get the same end result. :D
Now just have to finish sanding.... :cry: Not my favorite task. I'll post some more when finished.

Finished the staining today. Now on to the poly coats...

Also, another model I may cut to let my daughter paint for the Easter Bunny. She's always wants me to make something for her to paint. I think she will like this one.
