Is there a tutorial on how to load a photo and convert it to the 3d for routering. I am new to this.

Initially it is just like any other bitmap.
1. Create a new project
2. Use File/Import/Bitmap to bring in the photo
3. Select the image
4. Under Modeling Tools click on Create A Component from Selected Bitmap
From there you will want to do some smoothing and sculpting

Try the "Fish with Texture" tutorial, it is about 31 minutes long and very informative!

Does not matter! You want good contrast, though...Does it have to be color or grey scale bitmap picture?
