Nice ball nose bits????

Post by moto633 »

Does any one remember the link to the really nice ball nose bits? I saw them once on here and can't remember where.... It was a set of three that was $120 or so.

Or if any one has a good bit they would like to share info on that would be great too.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Nick

Big Tim,

You Rock! I knew it started with a B

Do you use these? Or can you recommend any others?

Thanks a bunch, I'm ordering right now.

I don't know about Tim but I bought two sets over a year ago and I'm still using the first set. I don't run a business but I do use them more than any bits I have. They are first rate.

I don't currently have a set of these. For the little 3D cutting I do I have some ball nose cutters I purchased locally. I plan on getting a set of these down the road, but not right now.

I bought various bits from this guy here;

Very happy with the bits, most of which are 1/8" shank

Cheers,

Claudio

Blackhawk,

What different types of bits have you used from them? Their compresion spirel bits are about 1/3 of the ones I've been getting.

We should have a topic just about tooling???? What does every one think of that????

Thanks,
Nick

There is a topic about tooling in the general section of the VCP forum. Let me see if I can find it.

I have used their straight bits, V bits, ball nose bits, and down spiral bits. I have one of their compression bits, but I have not used it yet. The compression should be just as good as their down spirals, and they are great. I have used their 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" down spirals. They have great customer service and will even develop specialized bits for customers. I have called them several times and they are always willing to talk to you and answer questions.
