Brian & Tony... The dragon slayers

Post by joenagel »

Brian and Tony have helped me slay the dragon. My wife sketched this dragon about a year ago and wanted me to model and carve it. I tried to do it in Rhino, but had very little luck. After watching the Aspire tutorials and about 6 hours of in work in Aspire I got this done.

The Vectric team has really delivered a truly intuitive and interactive software package that is easy to learn and a joy to work in.

Thanks guys! You have made my life easier.

Joe - that is a great model, especially cool that it is something your wife drew the image for. Pretty good for 6 hours of time on your first effort!

Nice work, from you and your wife. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the creativity that this software will allow. To take a sketch and transform it into a 3d model is amazing. Keep up the great work and please post a pic when you cut it.

James,

I have to add that I could not have got to this point with out your excellent tutorials.

Thanks for the time and effort you put into them.

Now I just need to watch them a couple more times and refine my skills.

Joe
