Post cap design...

Post by harryball »

Nothing grand, but I knocked this design out in about 10 minutes with Aspire. A friend is putting up a fence and this is a cap for the 6x6 fence post. There would be a 3/8 deep pocket on the bottom of each cypress blank. Using that for positioning the tops would be carved one at a time using a 1/4" ballnose bit. Total blank size is 7" x 7".

I say "would" because this is for a friend, he has his own machine to run it on and I wanted to give him some options but have no idea if he'll want to spend the time to make each one. But they do look cool.
