Has any one cut any thing yet?
Re: Has any one cut any thing yet?
Thanks for the compliments. It is made from Precision Board. I like Sign Foam better, not so grainy but I don't have any right now.

Looks great Marv!...thanks for sharing

Thank you all for the compliments. If it weren't for Aspire and Joe Crumley I would only have negative talent when it comes to making signs.

Marv,
That turned out Awsome, I love the paint job.
How did you get all of those different colors? Do you do alot of hand masking?
Please share.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Has any one cut any thing yet?
Thank you all for the outstanding compliments. There was no masking involved. I sprayed on two coats of epoxy high build primer and roughed it up some with scotch brite, all the rest was done with a 1/2" brush and some acrylic paints, mixing and matching till I got the colors I wanted. I used a light color on the background with some darker colors on top letting some of the light color show through. The frame was done with some black mixed with burgundy and highlighted with some dark brown. The VCarve trim was done in burgundy mixed with some black. As you can tell, I used a hand model from one of the Vector Art3D collections (Thanks James). I was trying to use some of the techniques I learned in Joe Crumley's workshop in September (Thanks Joe). Joe did a similar sign at the workshop which Gary Beckwith cut out. When Aspire came out (Thanks Vectric Team) I decided to try my own from start to finish. Try it yourself, it's fun.

Hi Marv,
Great to see you are getting such excellent results from Aspire!
Any chance you could send us some higher resolution photo's to
add to the Aspire Gallery?
Thanks,
Tony
