Any BIG work lately

Been a while, Any one done any Big work lately ? I was watching a fellow use slicing in the first few days after the original release (Oct 08) and got a little carried away with how much fun it was !

That is a very cool project. I did a chest board and players a few weeks ago and I thought I did them oversized, where the tallest was about 8-inches. I did it as a single sided project, but had to sliced each part into two.

I'm assuming you did that out of high density foam. What did you use as a finish coat? I ended up using a powdered metal coating.

MDF ! Foam was out of the budget, i have a good set of stls for these players

Hi James,

It's good to see you again. Those were at the first Aspire Camp I attended there. Impressive pieces. Any update on another Aspire Camp at your place?

Good to see you too ! i still have dozens of photos of your work on display !

Yes I am considering a camp again next year, Will contact all and check the interest amongst vectric , and a lot of those who have attended have asked for another camp !

Very good! I will plan to attend again.

Much of the stuff I had on display has been given away to friends or used as raffle items for fundraisers to benefit the Roanoke Valley Veterans Museum. They have asked me to show off my work there on October 12th during another annual fund raiser and will provide a table for it. Craft work display by a local veteran. They have a display case in the museum just for some of my items. The Moon Pie and M&M guitars are donated, the Aztec/Mayan and license plate guitars are on loan. I have learned a lot at your camps and highly recommend that those who have not attended before to seriously consider it.
