Wooden Bicycle

Post by garylmast »

I modeled this bicycle for my Great Granddaughter who just turned three. The problem is, it's a little big for her so i got to figure out some training wheels or wait until she's a little older...or both. I bought a bike from Walmart so I could use the wheels, peddles and bearings, which was cheaper than buying the parts separately.

That will get a lot of attention when she’s old enough to ride it around!

Cool project, Gary!

This is amazing. Designing all of the parts to fit together and sizing for the bearings must have taken a lot of time.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. She definitely need training wheels...and I know, a helmet.

Very nice... what kind of wood did you use? Had to be something strong like oak.
