Rocket Clock

Postby highpockets » Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:26 pm

Just in time for Christmas....

My grandson is interested in space ships. He believes airplanes with contrails are actually spaceships headed into space. Who am I to tell him differently.

Michael Tyler to my rescue... I decided to make his Project of the Month, Rocket Clock for him for Christmas present. Not sure he can read an analog clock, but he can learn

Fun project, thanks Michael!!! Only one issue. When cutting out the Back Rocket Panel I didn't notice that it was actually tapered. After cutting out the panel and noticing the taper I started trying to figure out why my machine was cutting at an angle...

I decided to give him his very own secret galaxy on the backside. What to do with the hole for the clock? Turn it into a black hole.... :D :D

Nice work and no doubt he will love it. A great way to introduce him to an analog clock too and help him learn to tell time.
