The attached two photos shows the finished beer taps made for a startup brewery. The tap handles were CNC cut using walnut and red oak. After the handles were cut out they were sanded and treated with rub on poly to seal the wood. The handles were then masked with Oramask 813 and all graphics and lettering were laser cut at a depth of .075. The laser cut graphics and lettering were sealed with poly to prevent bleeding. The next step was 3 coats of black acrylic paint applied via air brush. Th e mask was removed and the taps were sanded with 600 grit sand paper between each of 3 coats of lacquer.
