How to make a bowsaw blade from a bandsaw blade (anneal the end, drill 1.2mm and hammer in a 1.3mm finish nail):

Yes, I did an FEA to assess the loads and the suitability of the shape. Admittedly, I did that after I was finished building the saw but nonetheless interesting:

Quite the piece of work there. Think I like this one better than the first. Thanks for sharing.

Was just looking at two mallets I made by hand for specific purposes when house was built...NOW I get to make a "Pretty Mallet" :D
