Ludo Board

Post by DesOwen »

Made a Ludo board. Designed the vectors with Aspire and cut the coloured parts on the laser and the borders on the CNC. About 2 foot square. Game is also known as Uckers and it used to very popular in the Navy I understand. Aspire and the other Vectric products include great drawing tools which enabled me to produce the files I needed to cut these pieces. For the next board I will extend the black border another inch to strengthen the design. I wish I could paint better though; as usual, more on me than the border rails :D

Very nice Des, Uckers is very popular in the Armourers trade in most of the commonwealth Air forces as well.
Nice job.

Oh this is just great! I used to love this game when I was a kid!
I bet the drawing tools helped you to create something like this rather quickly? ... and very accurately by the looks of things :)
I'm thinking of doing some old school games for future projects, thank you for sharing!
Nice Job!
