Under the Sea Wall Clock

Here is a piece that is a blend of traditional and CNC work.
18"w x 30.5"h x 7"d Maple Case with Cherry, curly maple, ebony, Hard Maple, walnut, yellow heart, blood wood, holly.
The clock face is Vcarve inlay of ebony in curly maple.
The turtle shell is cnc inlay and it's body is an aspire 3d model.
The top of the clock was CNC cut with the interior layers hollowed out to reduce weight.
The rebates in the door were cut on the CNC.
the back of the clock has two stepped rebates for the mirror and plywood back that were cut with a pattern bit and a cnc template
The ebony and maple zebra fish were 3D modeled in aspire and cut using two sided machining.
the turtle shell doorknob was cnc cut, then turned on a lathe.
There is still a lot of hand work like the pendulum is worm on a hook that was carved from soft maple using a foredom tool.
the two yellow fish are segmented turnings, their fins were CNC cut
