I want to share a really fun project with you. Here is some pictures and a link to an project in which I used a file from Design&Make and Aspire. I’m here making a mold for a Concrete Lion.

Thank you for showing your project. I enjoyed your video!

Some friends of mine did several concrete castings like this, but carved into wood and used heated Vaseline (petroleum jelly) brushed on the wood as the mold release. What type of mold release are you using?

Thanks for the kind words! :D

I used Styrofoam extruded polystyrene foam (XPS), commonly called "Blue Board" for the mold. Very easy and very fast to carve.
For the release i used the product in the picture below, its what construction workers use here in Sweden when they make molds for building. If you read the english part on the can you may have a answer in the picture.

Thanks! And yes this was really fun to do too, the material was so easy to cut so no worries about breaking the bit and it only took about two hours for my little CNC.
